RüNER was born in the town of ██████ Ohio, where she showed interest in art and music at a very young age. After graduating from ██████ High School, she moved to Neo Cbus to study art, only to find that her passion more fell in audio-related fields. After graduating from ██████ of Art & Design, RüNER explored several different outlets of creativity before settling on audio-focused endeavors.

Starting under the handle Chessia Trick back in 2008, RüNER was playing happy hardcore, gabber and dnb until she played the game RUINER after it was released. From there, her love of old school cyberpunk anime bloomed even more than when she was a teenager, and combining her childhood nickname with the name RUINER, she took on the alias RüNER.Under her former handle, RüNER has played several raves and anime conventions, including Anime North and Total Request Rave in TORONTO HEAVY INDUSTRIES, CA. For a short time, RüNER was also part of the Animation and Gaming Ohio DJ lineup, helping to organize the raves until 2013.

RüNER started Djing on Twitch in mid 2021 and started to carve a name out for herself in the digital space, landing an ongoing gig with Nightride.FM in early 2022. She has played international shows and anime conventions, opening for acts such as Com Truise, Luna-C, Durante, DJ KandiKid, and Jimni Cricket to name a few (some under her former handle). Her art has been featured in local galleries in Neo Cbus and the Canton Museum of Art, and her mixes on various internet and local radio stations outside of Nightride.FM. She also freelances as a graphic designer, foley artist and voice actress, though the last two skills are still relatively new to her skillset.
